Closter Schools & Education
The Closter Public Schools educate students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Hillside Elementary School recently introduced a new Preschool Program for three- and four-year olds. Students attend Tenakill Middle School for grades
5 -8th. Closter high school students attend Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest.
Closter NJ Transportation
NJ Transit 167 and 177 bus routes provide service along Schraalenburgh Road to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan. Rockland Coaches provide service from Closter to the Port Authority Bus Terminal via the 20 and 14E bus routes. Saddle River Tours / Ameribus offers service on the 20 / 84 route to the George Washington Bridge Bus Station.
In August 2012, the mall was used for filming scenes from the film The Wolf of Wall Street.
